AM Cyberboard Terminal

The AM Cyberboard is one of my favorite boards to look at but I do have some complaints. I feel like this board was a great idea that just wasn't completely thought through. This board has the best RGB of any board I have used which would be great if I used RGB.

I always love the idea of RGB but when it comes time to use it I feel like it is always too much, and this boards RGB is much more than the average board. The lighting is so bright and the diffusers on the Black lotus switches I am using really let the light pop through. and if you are a fan of RGB then this is a no brainer.

The big difference with this board is the large LED panel on the front of the board that can be customized not only in color and design but also frame by frame for cool lighting effects. This is what drew my to this board and I really love the idea. However the screen is slanted so I never see it. Others who walk by my desk comment on how cool it looks but I dont get to see that. It has features where you can set it as a digital clock, that you will never see.

I feel like so much of this board is form over function. The screen is just the tip of the ice burg. The keycaps that look so pretty with the shine through are fingerprint magnets and always look dirty and grimy the second I touch them and they have a unique sound that people wanting clack will love but I personally prefer the more thocky sound of GMK caps. And the reason I always display this board. And never use it is the sharp corners. This board needs a wrist rest and if you use one then it wont bother you but for me this gets too annoying.

Finally the Price on this is just too high at ~$500 USD I feel like its a cool board to display for a collector but not something to be your daily driver.
