Singa Unikorn 2.1
Today I decided to write up something on one of my favorite boards I own the Singa Unikorn V2.1. This is one of the highest desired boards I own. To give you a picture of the madness surrounding these boards they typically sell for around 3-4x the msrp and I have never seen one go for less than double the ~$400 USD price. Now I can say owning one of these boards that they are good and a must buy if you have a $400 budget for a 60% board, however I dont think it lives up to the secondary market prices of $1,000+.
If you love the look of this board and want to got something similar looking without paying the hefty price I will save you some time and tell you to check out the Tofu. In almost every way imaginable this is just a better made tofu.
Now for those of you wondering what is driving the demand for these boards the truth lies beneath the surface, well beneath the board. Its the butt, it has a unikorn on it. Like the work pink on the backside of the cute girl you knew in highschool the back of this board is designed to draw the eye.
Now I know what you thinking "it cant be so simple". Wrong. It is this board is great and well made but there are other boards doing the same thing. And to be honest I love the back of this board and its a big reason I don't plan on selling it anytime soon.
The demand is slowly being met for this board and the prices seem to be coming down as more people get them in hand but I don't think there will be many people regretting there decision to not sell as prices come down.
